Brandi Combs
Youth Pastor & Food Pantry Director
Brandi is the proud wife of Branden Combs and blessed mother of two children. She serves in her calling and hearts desire as youth pastor. Brandi has worked in student ministry since 2006 and was placed in the position of youth pastor in 2018. She is blessed to serve alongside other youth leaders to teach the young people God has entrusted her with about Christ. Her desire is to reach, teach & guide young people into their calling and see them serve in their calling in the church and community. Brandi has implemented a few programs at Turning Point. The 4.12 Youth Project & a Life Skills Program. She has opened a student led gift shop. The purpose of the gift shop is to teach young people about job skills, business and more. Brandi also serves as Vice President of Women’s Ministry. She loves serving alongside the women at Turning Point as they meet the needs of those who are hurting and connect with one another through retreats and ministry.

These guys are in the media room working hard for you and capturing the service both through audio and video. Streaming live to YouTube and Facebook. They are on the cutting edge of technology and are always learning ways to better their craft. Make sure you let them know that you appreciate all they do.

These ladies work very hard to always serve you, whether you are a child on Wednesday nights, or someone after church on a Sunday dinner day we have throughout the year. They have the spirit of excellence and hospitality on them and their heart is to serve people. Truly a blessing to our church family.

Kevin & Lisa Trout
Kevin and Lisa Trout live in Mount Vernon, Illinois and have two sons and two grandchildren. Kevin's parents were Church of God pastors and he has been with the Church of God since 1976. Lisa has served in ministry for over 30 years. They have been attending Turning Point Church since January 2022.
Dave & Carolyn Hoskins
Dave and Carolyn have a Master Degree in theology. They have worked 7 years as a houseparent for children ages 8-17 . Dave is pioneering a job with Egyptian Health Department as a therapeutic mentor for boys ages 12 and above. Carolyn has been working as family resource developer with Egyptian Health Dept for over 8 years and have been working with the youth Crisis Dept since 2015.
Kurt & Crystal Schroeder
Kurt & Crystal (aka Cricket) married in 09/12/04. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Cricket grew up in a Christian home and asked Jesus to be Lord of her life as a young child. She has been active in Children's ministry since 2005.
They moved to Southern Illinois and started attending Turning Point Church of God in January 2018.
Kurt grew up in a Catholic home and accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1991. Kurt assisted in Children's ministry since 2005. They are honored to be chosen as Deacon's at Turning Point Church in July 2018.
Cricket grew up in a Christian home and asked Jesus to be Lord of her life as a young child. She has been active in Children's ministry since 2005.

Steven & Desiree Graves
Steven & Desiree Graves reside in McLeansboro. They were married in 2009 and have twin sons. Steven is a life-long member of the Church of God in McLeansboro.

Hope Owen
Hope and her husband Loy live in Eldorado. She is the mother of two sons and she has three granddaughters. Her son Joshua was called home to be with Jesus in 2001. Hope has been a minister for 50 years and has served as pastor, assistant pastor, teacher, and ladies ministry leader. She has been at Turning Point Church since 2016. Hope is a council member, the adult Sunday school teacher, and occasionally leads Wednesday night Bible study.
